I guess on 7/1/2011 the Fla. Legislature passed a Cottage Food Law thereby allowing the average Joe or Josephine to make certain products in their home and sell them to the public. Sounds good, huh? However, you cannot make more than $15,000. Gross a year, You cannot sell Wholesale and you CANNOT SELL your products ON LINE.   You can advertise on line but not sell.  Being the person I am, I will research and find out what the criteria was to come up with these rulings. Personally I feel it’s more about holding the small business down financially and not giving a hoot about consumer safety. Tell me what you think!!
